2HIGH FESTIVAL "OASIS MUSICAL BLURB" Award winning composer/playwright/performer Bradley McCaw returns from a sell-out performance on New York’s 42nd street to present the world premiere of a new musical The Oasis. Presented in partnership with An Old Fashioned Production, this exclusive rehearsed reading is Brisbane’s first glimpse at this new musical written specifically for under 25’s. Featuring some of Queensland’s finest actors and a live rock band, The Oasis is a musical that explores the world from the view of a group of disillusioned university students that stumble upon a hidden ‘oasis’ in the forest surrounding their campus. As the land begins to alter their views they discover the colleges plans to destroy the land and build a new technology wing.
